Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is an interdisciplinary field that has attracted many researchers, educators, and practitioners
from many different disciplines. It has gained even more attention during recent years in which technology has developed at a fast
pace. In MIS, HCI are concerned with the ways humans interact with information, technologies, and tasks, especially in business,
managerial, organizational, and cultural contexts. This track, therefore, is interested in articles of all aspects of HCI, including
but not limited to
• Cognitive, affective, behavioral, motivational, demographics, cultural and social aspects of HCI
• Task analyses and user modeling
• HCI development methodologies and techniques
• Interface designs for single-user and collaborative work on various platforms for communication, productivity, and fun
• Personalization and adaptive interfaces
• Usability engineering, metrics, and methods
• The impact of interfaces and information technology on attitudes, behavior, performance, perception, productivity, life, and home
• Technology acceptance and diffusion issues from cognitive, motivational, cultural, and user interface design perspectives
• Issues in software learning and training
• Issues in teaching HCI courses
