Policy and Intended Use of AIS_HCI List
1.
The AIS_HCI List is primarily for use by MIS and HCI researchers, doctoral
students, and practitioners world wide.
2.
The purpose of the AIS_HCI List is to be a broadcast medium for
IS/HCI-related information of interest to, and relevant for, members of the IS/HCI academic community.
3.
Only AIS_HCI List subscribers may distribute messages over
AIS_HCI List;
4.
The AIS_HCI List should not
be used to advertise events, items or services that are marketed to
generate profit, without advanced
permission of the SIGHCI chair.
5.
The AIS_HCI List should not be used for personal communication (e.g. change of contact details) or self-promotion.
6.
The AIS_HCI List should not be used for student exercises.
7.
The AIS_HCI List should not be used for repeated distribution of the same information.
8.
In order to minimize the level of superfluous postings, while maintaining the dynamics of an unmoderated list, replies to messages posted on the List are by default sent only to the Sender of the original posting.
9.
AIS SIGHCI reserves the right to edit or amend AIS_HCI List policy.
Conditions of Use of AIS_HCI List

been previously distributed over AIS_HCI. Individuals who are
uncertain whether their posting has been
successfully distributed should check the online archive for verification,
rather than distributing the message a second time.

using AIS_HCI to solicit information from the AIS_HCI community agree to provide
the community with a summary of the responses obtained, either by distributing
the summary through AIS_HCI, or by distributing a URL for the summary.
